Today Thursday, October 3, 2013 the Official Opening of the Programme started with a warm welcome and indroduction by the presidents of the involved organizations , specifically by:
- Mr. Ioannis Maronitis , President of Club for UNESCO of the Department of Piraeus and Islands
- Mr. Sergey Gogolev , President of Youth UNESCO Club UNITY
- Mr. Rosca Ovidiu , President of A.C.C.S.A.L.P.C.
Then the participants recieved welcome by local authorities :
- Mr. Alexandros Pnevmatikos , Mayor of Korinthos
- Mr. Konstantinos Logothetis , Mayor of Loutraki- St. Theodore
Before the break , the russian team made a surprise , with a traditional russian dance , for the welcome.
Afterwords there were an introductory on the thematic issue of the museums, conference by the speakers below :
- Dr. Elena Korka , PhD in Archaeology, Athens National University, MA in History and Archaeology, University of La Verne ,Director of the SERVICE FOR ANTIQUARIES AND PRIVATE ARCHAEOLOGICAL COLLECTIONS OF THE GREEK MINISTRY OF CULTURE AND SPORTS, The role of museums from past to future. Synergies and benefits in regard to the return of cultural goods
- Dr. Emmanuel Mikrogiannakis , Professor of Ancient History, University of Athens and former Dean of School of Philosophy ,The importance of museums for the future of people
- Dr. Marios Stamatakis , President of the Municipal Center for Social Policy of Korinthos , Orthopedic Doctor, University of Ioannina
- Nikos Lois , President of the BoD of the Municipal Agency “O PROMITHEAS” for Culture , Sports and Environment , of Loutraki, How the local authority can highlights the wealth of museums within the area of municipal.

The Opening Ceremony closed with a symbolic interactive game named "Carpet of Communication" , which symbolizes the global international network and connection , by intercultural communication , which is a way to promote the peace and intercultural unerstandig as well as cultural diversity in the world.
